Most people cannot remember, but what is worse is that most people cannot remember the last time they thanked someone else. Everyday there are countless moments when you can say thank you; whether you are given a gift or the door is opened for you, but not everyone thinks about these little situations and the words are forgotten. This past year I applied for a scholarship program that required me to be chosen from a group of my peers to represent the Palm Desert area at the state capital. I then decided that I should write a thank you note to the scholarship program for giving me the opportunity.
Saying thank you sets you apart nowadays, as time has progressed human society has become rude and ungrateful. To be truly happy in life, I do believe that you must build good relations with the people you surround yourself with. These two little words have made such a difference in my life.
